KCC devotes all their might on supporting the export of Communications service

KCC(Korea Communications Commission) held the first meeting to understand the present export condition of domestic Communications Service industry and reduce related companies’ hold-ups on March 6th.
A lot of related companies and associations attended this meeting from the telecommunication industry; KT, SKT, KTF, Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics etc. and the broadcasting industry; KBS, MBC, SBS, KoDiMA(Korea Digital Media Industry Association), KBI(Korean Broadcasting Institute), KCTTA(Korea Cable Television & Telecommunication Association) etc.
Especially, KCC has selected WiBro(Wireless Broadband), IPTV(Internet Protocol Television), DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) and broadcasting contents as the top 4 strategic items of export in the meeting. They also plans to support related companies’ overseas marketing activities which targeted export promising countries. For this, they will inject KRW 6.6billion to aid communications convergence road shows, broadcasting contents showcases, international coproduce of broadcasting contents and so on.
