Title	KCC putting all effort to find new market-creating industry model

Korea Communication Commission devotes finding industry models as new growth power from this year which can create market. In particular, KCC is trying to construct a cooperation system among ministries in order to establish an industry ecosystem. The above mentioned business models are long term promoting industry models. Government provides the direction for the new industry and creates the foundation, also progresses R&D in cooperation with private companies so that added value could be created, at the same time, it will be possible to raise derivative industry. On March 22, KCC announced that they will select the core industry which can create market with high growth potential and plan to foster it intensively from this year. KCC has pursued promotion policies of IPTV and WiBro, which have been the most typical market-creating models, in various ways. This year, they will expand models similar to them and develop policies of those. KCC especially said that , they will actively collaborate with other ministries in variety of area including development of core technology, standardization and commercialization of new models. A high-ranking official of KCC said "We are devoting all our might to build up the foundation of the new models." "It will be difficult to establish an industry ecosystem at the beginning. However, if we prepare from the beginning, the probability of success will grow, and it will become new growth power."
