RRA(Radio Research Agency, Director General Choon-Hee Kim) of KCC(Korea Communications Commission) announced on 16th February that they would plan to offer the best suited real-time frequency service for smooth short wave transmission as setting up the close observation system of an ionization with high technology. The best suited real-time frequency service is to offer the fittest frequency service that can communicate and predict communication conditions of wireless communication using short wave band. It is being offered information of an ionization layer observation like F2 floor critical frequency and F2 floor height of an ionization layer to calculate using frequency of the central districts by the observation balloon in Anyang. An additional observation balloon is going to be installed in Jeju island to provide ionization layer’s close observation information of the southern district through Solar Radio Environment Research (http://solarradio.rrl.go.kr) of RRA from the first half of the year. Moreover, ’The best suited real-time short wave frequency service’ for the range of the nation will be offered through improving Solar Radio Environment Research. In addition, KCC is planning to build ’cosmic radio noise research centre’ in Jeju island where get ready the best suited frequency research environment for 3years from 2009 until 2011 to conduct systematic and overall research about cosmic radio noise environment such as solar radio emission, ionization layer, terrestrial magnetism and so on for preparing maximum solar activity in 2012 and the space age. If the research centre is built, it will contribute to not only vitalizing cosmic radio noise environment, training high-quality human resources and rearing related industry for opening jobs but also making less damage by changing cosmic radio noise environment such as a sunspot explosion as conducting a cosmic radio noise environment warning service to protect communications infrastructure which is stood on the basis of Ubiquitous. |
